As far back as I can remember I have been interested in art. I have been working at my craft for a lifetime. At about the age of 11 or 12 I received my first camera along with a film developing kit and contact printer. While in high school I discovered graphic arts and my love of photography and art flourished. After a year of art classes at the U of S I was lucky enough to work for one the best photographers in Saskatoon. Murray Gibson instilled in me a good business sense and expanded my knowledge of commercial photography. Then came my interest in computers and all the advances in technology and digital imaging that has lead me to where I am today.

My circle photos were inspired after a trip to Australia and New Zealand where I took many photographs of the breathtaking sites and scenery that I encountered there. After returning I began experimenting with these photographs. What happened was that I turned an interesting photograph into a mezmerizing piece of art. A photograph with incredible detail on a realistic level but with imagined images that can change with multiple viewings. Having discovered this new technique I have expanded the images that I use to include a local and abstract focus as well. As I master this technique I am finding new and interesting ways to look at the world we live in.

As well as creating art I create websites, do page publishing and 3D animations. Check out my Commercial Work page for more information.
